Clay Lacy SVP Chris Hand to present at Young Pilots USA

Young Pilots USA is excited to announce that the third installment of our Virtual Meeting series will be hosted by Clay Lacy Aviation's Senior Vice President for the Northeast Region, Chris Hand.

Mr. Hand has been a Strategic Advisor to Young Pilots USA since very early on, and recently agreed to present on Thursday, February 18th, 2021 at 7:00 P.M. to Young PIlots USA members.

An accomplished pilot, Chris holds a B.S. in Aeronautical Studies from the John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences at the University of North Dakota, and prior to his career in aviation management, was a professional airshow performer and owned an aircraft leasing company.

Mr. Hand holds ATP-level AMEL and AMES ratings, along with Commercial-level ASEL, ASES, and Glider ratings. He holds CFI, CFII, MEI, and CFI-G instruction qualifications, and type ratings in the Bombardier Global Express series, Dassault Falcon 50 series, Dassault Falcon 2000 series, Gulfstream G650 series, and BAe 125 series, and is a designated pilot examiner (DPE) in seaplanes. He has over 12,000 hours of total time and has flown over 90 types of aircraft.

On the side, he flies his 1956 Cessna 180A Skywagon for fun, and flies gliders with his son, Ethan, also a pilot and Director of Chapter Affairs at Young Pilots USA. We are very excited to see Mr. Hand's presentation, and encourage all members to come hear it!

Young Pilots USA is America’s only nationwide members’ association of young aviators that’s actually run by young people, with an annual fly-in, guest speaker series, a great aviation community, and chapters in 5 states and growing!
