YPUSA Debuts New Logo with other Major Developments
Young Pilots USA has debuted a new logo, replacing the original navy-colored YPUSA Roundel with a blue-and-red, retro-styled one by AtoZ Studio, a Connecticut-based graphic design company. The new logo represents a push to further develop the Young Pilots USA organization as a members' association and community group for young pilots, amid the passing of Young Pilots USA's first-ever set of organizational bylaws, available at the bottom of the About page.
The Young Pilots USA Executive Board, currently comprised of President Luc Zipkin and Directors Kirk D. Garner and Ethan C. Hand, with Chapter Presidents Krista M. Jordan, Daniel F. Burns, and Jacob L. Fordyce also in attendance, passed the very first Organizational Bylaws for Young Pilots USA. The Bylaws detail the policies and procedures of the membership organization and outline its structure for what the group hopes will be many years to come.
In conjunction with the new logo and bylaws, Young Pilots USA has also launched the Leg Sponsorship option for prospective donors to the Coast-to-Coast Cub project, allowing them to have a personal connection to a portion of the journey with contribution options ranging from $5 to $225, covering fuel, food, and lodging expenses, as well as a sizable contribution to the three charitable causes the trip benefits. Nearly 50% of the amount will go directly to the charities, with more details available at the links above.
Young Pilots USA is America’s only nationwide members’ association of young aviators that’s actually run by young people, with an annual fly-in, guest speaker series, a great aviation community, and chapters in 11 states and growing!
