Chapter Events

Individual Young Pilots USA chapters generally organize their own events in the form of hangar parties, pancake breakfasts, introductory flights, and other regular meetings.  Please contact individual chapters for more information, or refer to our FAQ.

Located at Goodspeed Airport (42B) in East Haddam, CT and taking place over a weekend in August, we're very proud to be able to host our own fly-in, focusing on young people in aviation and showcasing the virtues of aviation to the general population. Please feel free to learn more here.

Educational Outreach

Young Pilots USA is currently working with a variety of industry partners, ranging from aviation companies to similarly oriented non-profits, to create educational opportunities for underprivileged youth in aviation, including career education. Young Pilots USA hopes to eventually create a concrete path by which recent high school graduates can reach high-paying aviation industry careers without costly college debt and while gaining excellent industry experience and giving back to our general aviation community. Please watch this space as we continue to build the program that we see as most directly contributing to the continued existence and success of the community we know and love.

Young Pilots USA is proud to have sponsored the Coast-to-Coast Cub project, which raised significant funds for a variety of charities, and hopes to continue this practice of sponsoring Member projects and trips with a significant charitable aim and an ambitious scope.
